Release NotesVersion 2026

Version 2026.01

This release introduces extensive improvements to AI-powered search, asset management, and Adobe integrations. It also includes several stability and usability enhancements.

The AI search has been fundamentally redesigned and is now based on vector search for more precise results. A new feature is the AI Object Search, which allows users to find assets based on depicted visual content. Regarding usability, the operation has been simplified: Activating the AI search now triggers the search automatically, the search configuration is preserved when switching to advanced search, and line breaks in the search field are now processed correctly. The terminology has been standardized to "AI Search" throughout the entire system.

Asset Management

Assets can now be assigned a "From/To" date for visibility (internal/external) – a cron job automatically updates the status on a scheduled basis. Additionally, a new metadata attribute, "License Expiry Date," is now available. Duplicate detection has been corrected and now reliably prevents duplicate entries in the "Other Names" field. Asset labels such as Asset Name, File Name, and Rename are now clearly distinguished from one another.

User Interface

The context menu has been redesigned and includes updated labels and translations. Unavailable functions – such as the status without a configured workflow or sorting when AI search is active – are now correctly grayed out and explained. Further detailed improvements affect checkbox lists, the version list, and the sorting dropdown.

Adobe Plug-in (InDesign & Photoshop)

The plug-ins have been expanded to include a "Rename" function directly in the context menu. The upload dialog now checks filenames for plausibility and only displays valid file types. Furthermore, compatibility updates for InDesign version 2025.01.05 have been implemented, and support for Adobe UXP plug-ins has been expanded.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved erroneous log entries for Akeneo product requests (non-existent products).

  • Analyzed and fixed connection drops when hosting with NGINX.

  • Corrected errors in the bulk editing of assets.

  • Patched a security vulnerability.
