In addition to the completely revised file upload options, this feature release brings numerous advantages and innovations in the areas of workflow, user guidance and connection to third-party systems.
With this release, new files can now be uploaded directly to the media module for the first time without having to go through the upload module. This means that new assets or new versions of existing assets can be added directly via drag & drop.
The upload module is therefore no longer absolutely necessary in future, but can still be used as usual.
This innovation significantly improves the user experience, as integration into existing processes is even easier for content suppliers, graphic designers and power users.
TESSA has been extended to be integrated directly into OXID eSales. Integration is possible in just a few minutes with the optionally available connector for OXID. As with all our connectors, we are pursuing the goal of very deep and bidirectional integration.
Annotations are comments on image elements. This means that in future, in addition to general comments on an asset, annotations can also be made on specific areas of the image. For example, individual sections of the image can be marked and annotated. The additional integration in the workflow module thus offers numerous new possibilities for collaboration within the team or with external service providers.
