Keywords

Tagging assets with the right keywords is one of the most important ways to make them quickly findable for you and others or to provide relevant information, for example for later use in search engines.

This is of course also possible in TESSA. We even go one step further here and differentiate between public and private keywords. Public keywords are visible to all users of TESSA, private keywords are only for you personally, so that you can quickly find your most important assets, for example, without getting in the way of other users with your keywords.

There are several ways to set keywords. You can select one or more assets and access the metadata via ‘Edit’. There you can enter new keywords or delete existing ones in the ‘Keywords (Public)’ & ‘Keywords (Private)’ text boxes. Depending on the configuration of your TESSA, keywords can even be assigned for individual languages.

If you use TESSA EE, you also have the option of having keywords automatically determined and set by the Google Vision API. For this purpose, you only need to click on ‘Click here to suggest keywords’ below the respective text box. The information from the API will then be queried and added for the asset. You can then simply remove any unsuitable keywords. As part of an individualization, it is also possible to connect other tools for the automated assignment of keywords via API.
