Akeneo connection
As a further step towards the best integrated DAM system in Akeneo, the connection to the Akeneo asset manager has now been fundamentally revised and released. This means that with just a few clicks you can now determine which asset should be available in Akeneo and whether it should be saved there as a copy or as a reference.
CDN-WarmUp
For each channel, you can now specify whether the derivatives of a channel should be calculated in advance, e.g. to significantly speed up the first call of a derivative via the CDN.
Channels and conversion server
The connection to the conversion server via channels has been fundamentally revised and new functions have been provided. Color profiles and color spaces are now better supported and incorrect settings in image files can be automatically corrected in certain cases.
Channels
In future, naming rules for derivatives can be stored in the channels in order to rename files based on rules. This means that the names of exported files can be adapted for the target group or target system during export via a channel. For example, article numbers, EAN codes, supplier abbreviations, size specifications and other data are available as placeholders.
Content from documents is searchable
Content from Office documents (e.g. Word and PDF files) can now also be optionally indexed by ElasticSearch.
