When editing the metadata of an asset, you will find the entry ‘Is External’. There you can select whether an image is only visible internally or also externally. If the setting is set to Internal, the asset is only visible to a specific group of users. This is particularly useful for assets that are not yet to be published, for example images of new products that will only be officially presented in the near future. The visibility can be changed at any time in the metadata of an asset.
To find internal images quickly, the search has its own filter called ‘Visibility’. Depending on the selected value, only internal, external or both types of assets are found.
